Lamp sockets
The right socket for every lamp socket
Even the most beautiful and innovative lamp will not produce any light without the lamp socket and socket being connected. But what exactly does that mean? Every fluorescent lamp you buy from us has a base. This is therefore a component on the illuminant itself, for example, an LED or energy-saving lamp. The socket, on the other hand, is a part of the lamp, for example, a table or wall lamp. It fixes or grips the illuminant and supplies it with the necessary voltage. The base establishes contact between the lamp and the illuminant by being turned, plugged or screwed into the socket. Then the light goes on!
Of course, this also means that the lamp socket and socket must always match each other both mechanically and electrically. In this category, you can therefore see in each product description which socket is suitable for which lamp socket. When buying lamps from our online shop, you can also see the corresponding lamp socket designation, so that you can compare from the outset whether the lamp socket and socket match. So if you're ever unsure, it's worth taking a quick look at the product page. In some cases, there are also overlaps here, so that several lamp sockets are compatible with one socket.
From the right socket to the lamp socket adapter
In our assortment, you can get various sockets for your lamp socket from PAR64 to GU10. Some of our sockets are already equipped with the necessary cables. Also an elegant solution – our lamp socket adapter E27 to GU10. This makes it child's play to switch, for example, from an E27 incandescent lamp to a more energy-efficient LED lamp with a GU10 base, without having to buy a new lamp straight away. If you use PAR lamps, you should also take a look at the PAR-SAFE housing from Omnilux. This provides protection against external influences and insulates reliably.
You do not need a separate socket, but are still looking for the ideal lamp? Then you can of course also buy complete lamps from us at great prices online.
